1 lb (453g) Fresh Figs
10 oz (283g) Sugar
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Green Cardamoms (whole)
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1/8 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 Tsp Saffron
1/3 Cup Boiling Water

1- Soak saffron in 2 tbsp boiling water for half an hour.
